Cut Teeth is Mepandes

Received an invitation from a friend to attend at the ceremony is the most fun, because it can eat for free. Ceremony I attended the ceremony of cutting teeth, the following little explanation of tooth filing ceremony in Bali.

Magazine that will be made ​​is still in the thinking about the theme and readership. But, obviously this magazine will feature with cartoon and anime formats. In the magazine there are caricatures, comics, short stories, photos and more. Magazine is a digital magazine format that I took, because magazines like these can be opened anywhere, notebooks, tabs, and other mobile phones.
 

The main reason I made the magazine is because a lot of my friends are very good at drawing and other artistic activities, but they do not know where do publicity than on Facebook or Istagram. So, this is my reason for making the magazine, but it is also because as a place distribute their expression in art.
 

For making the initial stage, I will make with Indonesian version. The magazine will be distributed widely over the Internet and can be downloaded free. After that will accommodate criticism, suggestions and other input that will be born the best magazines.

Almost Unconscious in Padang Padang Beach

Exactly, I don’t know about padang padang beach. When I planning go to Uluwatu, I think must go to somewhere in Uluwatu, such as beach. Finally, my decision is go to beach around Uluwatu. Why I know about this beach? That’s my sort story.

When I go to Uluwatu again, I don’t know where I must go. Suddenly, I saw someone with motorcycle fast of me. This guest bringing a buoy, I think he will going to beach and I follow him. Where I go with him, I don’t know, just only follow him (in my brain just think, if I lose, I don’t care because I am from Bali). After 15 minutes, I arrive in padang-padang beach.

I am very surprise, because this beach is near a cliff. Fortunately there are stairs that connects to the beach, but the stair is very sheer. I am only takes some photos in the beach, after that I come back because the atmosphere is very hot. I am almost unconscious in there, because the stair so long. That’s my terrible experience go somewhere which I don’t know where it is, moreover I go there is alone.

Almost Night in Jimbaran Beach

I am going to Jimbaran beach again, but I go there with my foot not using a motorcycle. Yeah, I walked about 1 kilometers, so totally I walked about 2 kilometers if we calculation when I go and when I am back. After I arrive in there, I use my smartphone to take a photo if you want know about smartphone with android, please visit my friend’s blog in TemanAndroid (Indonesian language).

I take some of photos when in Jimbaran beach almost night, so I have seen sunset and other people have a dinner. If you want download more about my photo in Jimbaran beach, please click here. Some people are doing funny in the beach, such as somersault, swim but they cannot swim and so on.

Many tourists come from different country and I know if one of that is from South Korea. I don’t know why I take that conclusion, maybe I heard from their conversation. So that my sort trip in the beach, no so long but it was amazing.

Island of Bali

Bali is located between Java and Lombok Island. Denpasar is the provincial capital located in the south of the island. The majority of Balinese are Hindu. In the world famous Bali as a tourist destination with a unique variety of art-culture, especially for the Japanese and Australian tourists. Bali is also known as the Island of the Gods and the island of Thousand temples.

Culture of Bali later gained strong influence of Indian culture that the process is getting faster after the 1st century AD. Balidwipa name (Bali island) began to be found in various inscriptions, including inscriptions Blanjong issued by Sri Kesari Warmadewa in 913 AD and mentioning the word Walidwipa. Estimated at this time that Subak irrigation system for rice cultivation was developed. Some religious and cultural traditions also began to develop at that time. Kingdom of Majapahit (1293-1500 AD) who are Hindus and centered on the island of Java, had founded the kingdom of subordinates in Bali around the year 1343 AD

Balinese traditional music has in common with traditional music in many other regions in Indonesia, such as in the use of gamelan and various other percussion instruments. Even so, there is a quirk in the play and gubahannya techniques, for example in the form of Kecak, which is a form of singing that supposedly mimic apes. Similarly, a variety of gamelan played was unique, for example jegog gamelan, gamelan gong gede, gamelan xylophone, gamelan and gamelan Semar selunding Pegulingan. There is also music played for the cremation ceremony Angklung and Bebonangan music played in various other ceremonies.

Balinese dance in general can be categorized into three groups, namely guardian or sacred dance performances, bebali or dance performances for ceremonies and also for visitors and balih-balihan or dance for the entertainment of visitors.

Eat Corns in Besakih

Many people in the world have known about Besakih, a big temple from Bali and it so famous. Besakih temple become the main temple in Bali with religious story, the truth value and more than that, it is so important for Hindus people in Bali

Now, Besakih become a religious tourism object and many people open the shop. A lot of people, include children, they always there for selling something to people or tourist. Not only people from Bali I there but also people from outside of Bali. So, many kind of people life in Besakih and I hope this situation become a part of beautiful of differentness.

I went to Besakih with my friends and after prayed we buy some corn to eat. Not expensive for sweet corn, only 1000 rupiahs per corns. Eat the corn in stair, so simple to do when we do it with our friends. But we surprised when we pay a rent of parking, 10.000 rupiahs. So expensive for us, because it first time we pay so expensive for parking. Not at all, it is experience, so enjoy that as long as you can.

Visit Bali and enjoy what you have in our island, I proud living in Bali.

Pray in Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu temple is one of famous temple in Bali islands, lot of people visit Bali for see the temple in Bali. Uluwatu has sea in around there with big wave, so this sea sometime use for surfing. Beach in Bali usually use for surfing inside the beautiful of the sea.

One day, I went to Uluwatu temple for pray because in there was held big ceremony or in Balinese term is “Odalan”. Many people from different regency come to Uluwatu for pray. When I visit Uluwatu, I think not so busy with people. But, when the night was arrived, many people come to Uluwatu temple for pray.

My first experience for me come Uluwatu temple when it held a big ceremony or odalan. In Uluwatu temple has many monkeys too. Uluwatu’s monkey has unique habit when they see a thing with shining material, they will steel it from people and we must exchange with fruit or other food if want our goods get back to us. Please visit Bali if want see a more unique from Bali islands, Uluwatu temple is not so far from Kuta, Bali.

Save Me Mom

More people didn’t know if Karangasem regency has beach with white sand. The beach is beautiful from Kuta beach or Sanur beach. I don’t why when I am in there, the big wave of water is happened. It is surprise for me to see a big wave in my city.

As you can see the picture, there are two people, mother and her child. With a big wave, it is very dangerous to release child for swim. Mom, take care your child for this situation if you not allow a bad situation happened.
